The Transformation....
The club started as Artemis Womens Motorcycle Club in 1994. Our primary
purpose was to promote a clean & sober lifestyle within the women's community through motorcycling.
Through the years...we have come to realize that we have limited our recovery experiences, by having
a womens only club. In September of 2005, the active members voted to change Artemis WMC to Artemis
Recovery Club. Along with the change of the name and patch, would also come the acceptance of new
members no matter what gender or orientation. The clubs primary purpose is still to promote and
support a clean & sober lifestyle within the motorcycling community. We are very excited to introduce
Artemis Recovery Club.

The club sponsors
a clean & sober motorcycle run (campout) every year. Usually on the second weekend of April. All
people, straight or gay, male or female are welcome to attend the event, with or without a motorcycle.
It is family oriented and there are usually a dozen or so kids running around all weekend. There
is NO alcohol, drugs, weapons or attitudes tolerated. Please do NOT bring your favorite pets.
Feel free to browse through our pages for further information about the run and our club. And don't
forget to sign our guestbook!
We are always under construction and updating constantly. So,
check back often.
